Everyone has a story. Our 2013 Visionary Award recipient Chris Ramsey is no exception. His magnificent story, although similar to some of those he serves, is still yet to be written. Mr. Ramsey is a co-founder of the Southeast Tennessee Health Consortium foundation which spawns the Minority Health Fair (MHF) and the Boys Leadership Summit (BLS). He has devoted so much of his efforts to empower and educate everyone on the importance of healthy living and positive choices. You shouldn’t take our word for it. You must speak with him yourself. His infectious attitude, passion and humbleness will make you see that anything’s possible. He has been a grass-roots organizer who believes in the essence of people and their abilities. Please join me in congratulating one of the greatest role models on his exemplary accomplishments.

2013 BLS OCTOBER GEAR UP
My name is LeAnders (Andy) Burns and I hope this email finds you in great spirits as we gear up for the 2013 Boys Leadership Summit. These are exciting times as we have a lot to look forward to this coming October. We are asking you to attend to because we need your commitment in making this years' summit effective. We are looking to strengthen our direction and commitment to our young men and the community. The truth is simply this. We need more men to commit. We are starting early because we are expecting people to participate. We have great ideas and even greater men. We must solidify mentor support.
